Cibolo received $12,545.33 in mixed beverage tax remittance for October 2026, up 96.02% from the same period last year. The Texas Comptroller’s allocation table lists $6,399.91 for Cibolo in October 2025.
The increase means $6,145.42 more in this October remittance to Cibolo than in October 2025. The figure measures money remitted to the city for the reporting period. It does not measure sales at any named bar or restaurant.
From the source record
These are remittances to cities for one reporting period, not sales at individual businesses.
The same table lists Cibolo’s year-to-date remittances at $73,715.77, compared with $65,749.71 at the same point last year, a 12.12% increase. That smaller year-to-date rise puts October’s sharp monthly change in context: one month does not describe the whole year.
For comparison, the October table lists $8,267.86 for Seguin and $7,176.36 for Schertz. Those are remittances to each city, rather than a ranking of individual establishments.
What accounts for Cibolo’s October jump remains an open question. Residents can inspect the city rows and subsequent reporting periods in the Comptroller’s mixed beverage tax allocation data to see whether the increase persists.
