The Guadalupe Appraisal District board is scheduled to hear a presentation Nov. 4 about revising financial statements to correct an accounting error in its approved 2025 audit.

The proposed revision addresses an accounting error discovered in the audit approved April 8, 2026. The Nov. 4 presentation is listed for discussion and possible action; the agenda does not establish that directors have approved a correction.

The district’s posted agenda describes a presentation and possible action, without stating revised figures.

Residents can see that the district’s audited finances are up for review, but the posted agenda gives no amount or revised figures. The presentation or a subsequent financial document would have to show what figures change.

The agenda names Debbie Fraser of Armstrong, Vaughn & Associates, P.C., as the presenter. It does not say that appraisal values or tax bills changed.

Directors are scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, in the board room at the district office, 3000 N. Austin St. in Seguin. Residents can check item 8(a) in the posted agenda for the proposed discussion, then look for the board’s outcome and any revised statements.
