The Guadalupe Appraisal District's Oct. 15 unofficial summary lists Marion's 2026 city property tax rate at $0.4951 per $100 of taxable value, up from $0.4216 in 2025. That is an increase of 7.35 cents per $100 for the city tax rate.
At a constant $100,000 taxable value, the listed rate change would add $73.50 a year, or about $6.13 a month, to the Marion city portion of a property tax bill. The comparison holds taxable value steady to isolate the rate change; it does not predict any household's final bill.

Actual bills also depend on each property's taxable value and exemptions. Other taxing jurisdictions levy separately, so the city rate alone is not a total property tax rate. The appraisal district's table lists Marion ISD on a separate row.
The district calls its summary unofficial and directs questions about official rates and tax calculations to the appropriate tax assessor-collector. Marion's adopted-rate record is the next document to check against the district's listing.
