Schertz has scheduled a Nov. 4 public hearing on a proposed permit for major automobile repair and service at 2077 Schertz Parkway. The proposal concerns about 1.3 acres identified as Guadalupe County property ID 171854; it has not been approved.

Residents interested in the proposed use can attend the hearing or ask the Schertz Planning Division questions before the commission makes its recommendation. The Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to meet Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 6 p.m. in the Municipal Complex Council Chambers, 1400 Schertz Parkway, Building 4.

Application PLSPU20260242 asks the commission to hold a public hearing and make a recommendation on a specific use permit. That is the next step described in the city’s notice, not a final decision on the proposed use. The notice does not establish what recommendation the commission will make.

People with questions about the request can contact the Schertz Planning Division at planning@schertz.com or (210) 619-1780. The city’s public hearing notice gives the application number, property identifier and hearing details for residents who want to inspect the proposal or follow the commission’s next action.
