Guadalupe County commissioners approved a three-year LexisNexis renewal for the Court at Law on Aug. 4, 2026, by a 5-0 vote. Commissioner Wolverton moved to approve item 8.G, Commissioner Germann seconded, and the minutes recorded five ayes and no nays.

The approved schedule puts the Court at Law's Lexis+ monthly commitment at $178 in its first year, $184 in its second and $189 in its third. Those figures describe the commitments in the posted renewal, rather than a record of payments already made. Residents can inspect the posted LexisNexis renewal for the exact terms.

From the source record

Monthly Lexis+ commitments in the Court at Law renewalContract years begin Oct. 1.

What the renewal sets out

The posted renewal sets a first term from Oct. 1, 2026, through Sept. 30, 2027, followed by two more years of stated monthly commitments. It is the agreement commissioners voted to approve, according to the Aug. 4 minutes.

After the three-year committed term, the document calls for automatic annual renewals unless written nonrenewal notice is given at least 30 days before expiration. It also sets a 7.5% increase in recurring fees for each renewal year. That provision makes the notice deadline and later county payment records the next useful checks for taxpayers.

What to check next

The next public-record check is a signed agreement or county invoice showing when the approved subscription took effect and what the county paid. The renewal document supplies the scheduled amounts and notice rule readers can compare with those records.
