To register to vote in Guadalupe County, submit a completed, signed application to the county elections office; registration becomes effective 30 days after the office receives it.

The county’s voter registration page gives residents three ways to obtain an application: pick one up at an elections office, complete the Texas Secretary of State’s online form and print it, or call the county office to have a form mailed to you.

The Nov. 3, 2026 election is now too close for a new registration to become effective under that 30-day rule. Early voting in person ended Oct. 30, according to the county’s election calendar. Residents who are already registered can use the county’s election page to look for sample ballots and the Election Day schedule.

Register for a future election

The county lists two places to pick up and return an application: 3251 N. State Highway 123 in Seguin and 1101 Elbel Road in Schertz. After completing and signing the form, residents may return it to either office or mail it to P.O. Box 1346, Seguin, TX 78156. The county also links to the Secretary of State’s application. Completing that form online does not finish registration: the county says it must be printed, signed and mailed.

Fill out the application completely and legibly, the county advises. If you move to another county, its registration page says you must register in the county of your new residence. For questions about an application or a replacement voter certificate, call the Guadalupe County Elections Office at (830) 303-6363. The county lists its Seguin main office hours as Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Find a ballot and an Election Day location

For the Nov. 3, 2026 election, a registered Guadalupe County voter may use any listed county Election Day vote center from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The county’s vote center list says that choice does not depend on the voter’s precinct. Check the PDF for a named location and street address before traveling: one numbered row says “TBD” and does not identify a place to vote.

The county’s Nov. 3 election page has a “Sample Ballots” section. Use that section to inspect the ballots posted for this election, and use the elections home page’s registration-check link to check your voter information. A city name or ZIP code alone is not a reliable way to choose which sample ballot applies to you; the county elections office can help resolve a ballot or registration question at (830) 303-6363.

Where to go next

Before Election Day, review the county’s full list of named vote centers and the Nov. 3 election page for ballot information. For help with registration or identifying the ballot that applies to you, contact the Guadalupe County Elections Office at (830) 303-6363 or visit its main office at 3251 State Highway 123 North in Seguin. For a later election, start with the county’s voter registration instructions so the signed application reaches the office in time to take effect.
