To find a Guadalupe County foreclosure sale notice, open the County Clerk’s 2026 foreclosure sale dates page, choose a monthly date and read the individual notice in that date’s packet.

For Guadalupe County residents checking a posted sale, the notice identifies a scheduled date and a designated trustee to contact; it does not establish that the sale took place. The County Clerk’s index says sales are scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month and directs inquiries to the trustee named on each notice. A posting tells you what was scheduled when the notice was filed; it is not a report of what happened afterward.

The County Clerk’s 2026 index lists monthly foreclosure sale dates and directs inquiries to the trustee designated on each notice.

Start with the year

On the Clerk’s 2026 foreclosure page, find the date you need. The page lists one sale date for each month, from January through December. For example, it lists Nov. 3, 2026. Choose that date to open the associated packet. If you are looking for another month, return to the year index rather than assuming the November packet contains its notices.

The county also maintains a broader 2026 meetings and public notices page organized by month. That page is a different starting point: it covers public notices generally, while the foreclosure sale dates page supplies the monthly sale-date list. If a search leads you to the general page, use the Clerk’s foreclosure index to find the sale-date packet.

Monthly packetSeparate notices filed for the selected sale date
Individual noticeIts stated sale date, place and designated trustee

Read the individual notice before relying on a date or contact; the packet contains more than one notice.

Read the notice, not just the packet label

The Nov. 3 packet is a useful example of the next step. It contains separate notices, each with its own sale details. Look within the notice for a section headed “Date, Time, and Place of Sale,” or for fields giving the date and earliest starting time. Then find the trustee or substitute trustee identified elsewhere in that same notice. Keep the details together: a time or contact on one notice should not be applied to another.

Check the county and place named in the individual notice as well. The November packet includes notices with different stated sale locations, including one that identifies Comal County as the sale county. A document appearing in this packet therefore does not, by itself, tell you that its sale is scheduled at the Guadalupe County courthouse. The notice’s own location line is the relevant detail to read.

What a posting can tell you

A foreclosure sale notice describes an intended sale: its date, timing and location, along with the trustee designated to conduct it. Those are the details to use when checking a scheduled sale or asking about that notice. The County Clerk’s index expressly sends inquiries to the trustee designated on each notice, so read that notice for the appropriate contact rather than treating the county’s general phone number as the trustee’s number.

The Nov. 3 date is still ahead as of this guide’s Oct. 30 edition. Even after a listed date passes, the filed notice remains a notice of a scheduled sale, not an outcome record. To check a specific notice, return to its page in the monthly packet for the designated trustee and ask about that scheduled sale. This guide explains how to navigate the county’s posting; it does not determine the status of any individual sale.
