Which school district serves your Guadalupe County address? How to enroll

For families considering Seguin, SCUC, Navarro or Marion ISD, start with the state district map, then confirm the address with the district before enrolling.

Use the Texas Education Agency’s School District Locator to identify a likely district, confirm your address with that district, then follow its enrollment instructions.

The locator shows district boundaries and provides links to district websites and contact information; TEA says the map’s positions are approximations. A family should ask the district to verify the address before treating the map as an enrollment decision.

TEA says its district map positions are approximate and advises contacting a district about administrative boundary questions.

Guadalupe County families comparing Seguin, Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City, Navarro and Marion ISDs need district confirmation before relying on a map for enrollment or campus assignment. TEA says individual districts determine attendance zones and campus assignments; it does not collect official attendance-zone maps. A district boundary shown on a statewide map therefore does not tell a family which campus will enroll a child.

Find and confirm the district

On the TEA map, search by district name or Guadalupe County, then zoom to the area around the home and note the district shown. The locator also lists district website and contact paths. Contact that district with the full residential address and ask it to confirm both district eligibility and the assigned campus. TEA specifically directs administrative boundary questions to the school district. If an address appears close to a boundary, that confirmation matters more than the apparent position of a map line.

The locator is an initial contact and boundary guide, not confirmation that a specific address qualifies for a district or campus.

Prepare the enrollment documents

Texas public-school enrollment is handled by districts and campuses. TEA says families are generally asked for proof of residency, a record establishing the student’s identity, and required immunization records or a valid exemption. The district decides which documents it accepts as residency proof; TEA gives a lease or utility bill as examples. Ask the receiving campus for its current list before gathering papers, particularly if the family’s living arrangement does not fit a standard lease or utility account.

TEA says a child may enroll in the public-school district where the child resides, while some families may have other public-school options. It also describes enrollment protections for students experiencing homelessness or other qualifying circumstances. If documents are incomplete or a family’s circumstances are unusual, contact the district or campus directly rather than assuming enrollment must wait. TEA’s school and district information page is another route to district contact details and enrollment resources.

If the address is in Navarro ISD

Navarro ISD’s 2026–27 new-student page says new families begin by requesting a Skyward account and using the emailed login information to complete online registration. It also calls for new students to complete an in-person enrollment step and bring hard copies of residency and student documents. Its posted August 4–6 registration dates have passed; families enrolling now should use the page’s campus registrar numbers to ask for the current appointment process rather than assume those summer sessions still apply.

Navarro lists registrar numbers by grade group: elementary, (830) 372-1933; intermediate, (830) 372-1943; junior high, (830) 401-5550; and high school, (830) 372-1931. Its registration page lists a photo ID, residency documents, birth certificate and current vaccination records among the papers to bring. Those are Navarro’s posted instructions; families considering Seguin, Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City or Marion ISD should obtain that district’s own current requirements after confirming their address.

Where to go next

Keep the address and the district’s confirmation together, then use the receiving campus’s instructions to finish enrollment. For a boundary or campus question, start with the district website or contact listing in the TEA locator. For Navarro, the district’s new-student page gives the Skyward starting point and registrar numbers. The district, rather than the statewide map, can verify the specific address and tell the family which campus and current registration steps apply.
