Seguin City Council approved five-year, nonexclusive commercial solid-waste and recycling collection franchises for seven companies, effective Jan. 1, 2027. The approval covers collection within Seguin's city limits.

Businesses using commercial waste or recycling collection in Seguin can identify the seven companies granted city franchises for service beginning Jan. 1, 2027. The franchises are nonexclusive, so the approval grants the named firms authority to operate rather than naming a single citywide commercial collector.
