Seguin City Council verified outcome, item 7.D ↗
The verified outcome records approval of seven commercial collection franchises at the Oct. 20 council meeting.

Businesses within Seguin city limits will have seven authorized commercial waste and recycling providers under the approved franchises. The agreements are nonexclusive, so the council did not award a single company sole authority to provide the service. The city's posted agenda identifies the action as file 26-451 and lists a proposed agreement and provider exception documents among its attachments.

The next practical question for commercial customers is what each provider will charge and which service terms will apply. The approval establishes the authorized companies and start date; customers comparing offers should inspect the agreement and provider exception documents listed under file 26-451 on the city's meeting page.
