Seguin's Nov. 3 council packet proposes a $2,500 hotel occupancy tax budget for the Seguin Conservation Society. The money is proposed for four specified expenses, with the largest share assigned to chimney work at the Log Cabin.
If approved, the budget would direct hotel tax funds toward heritage promotion, website work and chimney repairs at the Log Cabin. The proposed resolution seeks council approval of the society's budget; the packet does not establish that council has approved it.
