Springs Hill Special Utility District scheduled new water main installation to begin Oct. 26 from Guadalupe River Road to the end of Country Club Drive.

The district set out the route in its Oct. 21 construction notice; that notice describes the start as a plan, rather than providing a later progress update.

Springs Hill’s Oct. 21 notice describes the planned work and its possible traffic effects.

Residents in the area may see increased construction activity and temporary traffic disruptions. The district’s notice gives people who use Country Club Drive a reason to allow for work along the route, although it does not specify which stretches may be affected on a given day.

The notice describes installation of new water mains. It does not announce a road closure or a water service interruption. Those are different effects from the temporary traffic disruptions the district says residents may experience, so drivers and customers should not assume either has been scheduled from this notice alone.

The next useful check is a district update on construction progress and timing. Springs Hill’s notice does not give a completion date or confirm how much of the route crews have reached. Residents can inspect the district’s original notice for the stated route and watch its notices for any more specific traffic or service information.
